Stroke of Genius
Call for artwork! The brush and paint is the artist's voice which can communicate raw emotion, the human experience, and physical power. The Stroke of Genius invites artists to submit their original 2D artwork created through any painting media (oil, pastel, Watercolor, Encaustic, Mixed Media). New and emerging artists are encouraged to submit.

Exhibition Dates: Oct. 1st-Nov. 13th 2022
Opening Reception: Saturday, Oct. 1st from 6pm-9pm
Deadline: Monday, Sept. 12th midnight
Drop off dates: Sept. 20th & Sept. 22th

Eligibility
Stroke of Genius is open to anyone older than 18 years of age.
Media
2D artwork created through any painting media (oil, pastel, Watercolor, Encaustic, Mixed Media). All work must be ready to install.
No size limit
Entry Fee
$35 for up to three entries submitted. Fees are non-refundable.
What is the fee used for?
Dragonfly Gallery is a nonprofit organization. It is operated by artists, for artists, with no substantial reserve or endowment. All proceeds from entry fees fund exhibitions and programming related expenses.
Submission of images
All digital submissions should be JPEG's. Label each submission with artist First name and last name followed with entry number. (Ivonne Cruz_1.jpg). Attach a Word or PDF of image list with the following for each. Title, Size, Medium, Price

Delivery and Return of work
If shipping work, make sure to include a return label. All shipping costs are paid by the artists.
Sale of Artwork
All sale prices are set by the artists. Please note Dragonfly Gallery will retain a commission of 20% of the sale price on all artwork sold during the exhibition.
Copyright
All artists retains full copyright of exhibited work. By submitting artwork, artists agree the right to use the images in publications and gallery publicity.
